OUR PROCESS

  • Step One

    Get in touch with us and let us know what you need.

  • Step Two

    We evaluate the job and send you a quote.

  • Step Three

    If you’re happy to proceed, give us the green light.

  • Step Four

    We get to work, checking in with you along the way. Firstly with rough thumbnails to make sure we’re on the same page…

  • Step Five

    Then follow up with fine line drawings for your approval. No matter which option you choose, now is the time to make your changes and make sure everything is good to go to the next stage of the process.

  • Step Six

    You review what has been sent to you and should you have any amendments that need to be made, we discuss and get to fixing.

  • Step Seven

    Finally, when you’re happy with everything, we send you over the full resolution images for use in your Pitch document…

    … or your Production Bible…

  • ...

    Or have them printed for your cast and crew.

    And we’re done!

  • Step Eight

    Hopefully you’re happy with what you’ve gotten and you feel confident moving forward with your project. We quietly celebrate to ourselves before getting ready for the next project. See you out there.

  • After our initial call, we’ll go do our research on the area in question and gather references.

  • Upon you sending your shot list, we’ll put together rough thumbnails to illustrate our approach.

  • These will be sent to you for approval. Ideally at this stage, we’d be on the same page and thinking the same way. You give us the go-ahead to continue to the line art stage.

  • We will then begin the process of drawing out the line drawings (PENCIL) for your second approval. This would be the best time to give notes and make corrections due to the following stages (should they be required) being more difficult to edit after the fact.

  • If you’ve requested black and white shading (TONE) or full colour rendering (PIGMENT) storyboards, it is here that this process will occur.

  • These will be transferred to you for final approval and upon sign off, your complete, hi-resolution images will be sent.

  • Should there be any further changes required after this submission, an additional fee will incur, priced by the panel/hourly rate.

  • Finally, when everyone is happy, our accounts department will issue you with your invoice and we go on to make wonderful storyboard babies together for years to come.
